Two Medals, a Gold and a Bronze won in All India Karate Competition

A state level competition won by our champion Gaurav Jagwanee from PYP 4 (A) is a proud moment for the parents, teachers and the school. Khelo Karate All India Open Karate Championship was held at Balewadi, Pune on 21st and 22nd July. Gaurav Jagwanee won two laurels, one gold medal in Katha and another bronze in Kumite competition.
Karate teaches self-defense, focus, co-ordination, self-confidence and goal setting. And more than that it is a lot of fun for children.
Every child succeeds, there is God’s seed in everyone. Each child can be guided to create, whatever they wish to. They can achieve any dream of their own or of their parents or of this universe. Our President, Sir Robbin Ghosh congratulated him for his state level achievements and wished him many more laurels to come.
