Being an atheist, a non-believer, a sceptic ~ is as per Vedanta one who does not believe in his own self. Believing in yourself is believing in God.

Krishna, as per Hindu Mythology, the God himself, becomes the chariot driver for Arjuna, when he sees Arjuna quitting. Krishna persuaded Arjuna, that he should stick to his duty as a warrior and engage the enemy. The Bhagavad Gita is presented as a conversation between Arjuna and Krishna, a man and his friend. In this case, as claimed in the Hindu mythology, the God Himself. Arjuna, as per the ancient heroic epic ‘Mahabharata’, is depicting people in this Samsara ~ live ~ like us ~ a seeker and a knower. The message in Bhagavad Gita is that ~ ‘In our day to day life, God himself is always there, to guide us, to protect us, to help us; only we have to surrender to Him unconditionally and trust Him’. The message in this Hindu book depicting a guide line for all of us, “Divinize the life itself’.As per The Bhagwat Gita – God talks with Arjuna – Paramhansa Yogananda – Volume 2, Chapter IX, Verse 17, Page 758, “God is the one and the only true friend of woman/man”. He is the one consciousness that creates, preserves, dissolves and witnesses all creation. The devotee, thus merging, attains self-realization. Our prayers therefore, “Heavenly Father, Mother, Heavenly Friend, May Thy love shine forever in the sanctuary of my devotion. Hold my hand, guide us and protect us in every step of our life. Teach us how to understand you, relish you, believe in you and be protected always and ever in this journey of being human, towards ‘Human Excellence.”

What is the message in Bhagwad Gita?

The message of Gita, is the philosophy of life and not the philosophy which is, barren and devoid from life? As Swami Vivekananda says it is, “Divinise the life itself’.

Swami Vivekananda says, “He who runs away from the samsara, spends time in the caves of the Himalayas to meditate and die, has missed the way. He who plunges headlong in to the vanities and foolishness of life in the samsara, lives, earns to make ends meet or flourish, also has missed the way. So, then what is the way? As Swami Vivekananda says it is, “Divinize the life itself’.

To see God in every existence of elements in and around us. Wherever we are, whatever we do, to see God in everything. Gita means words of songs of God or spirit, the divine communication of truth between man and the creator, learning to come closer to and talk to God, like you do, to your mother or father? That is the way to live life, a life filled with joy and bliss ~ ‘Yogakshema’.

You have the power within you ~ story of the WAVE

What is that moment when an ever-moving wave, with all its mighty ~ never ending ~ incessant, continuous display of strength, closes itself, fades and calms down? When one wave, of the ocean, asks the other wave, do you know you will not be a wave when you reach the shore. The wave begins its journey to discover, comes to face and realise, be aware that all waves die. That his parents, family, children wife/husband ~ all would die.

This was the same question of Buddha. He found the answer. As he did, a wave friend, being aware of Vedanta explains, if you wish not to die, there is a way. “Be Still, Be Silent”. Start today and learn to be still and silent, you are no more a wave.  If you were a wave in the ocean, and choose to be still, you are not a wave any more ~ you merge and become the ocean. Then you are the ocean and have the same infinite energy and the power of the Ocean ~ you become the ocean (simply through being ‘still and silent’ (meditation).’

The calm ocean without the waves and the ocean with waves in tumult are one and the same in essence, differing only in appearance. Each and every wave has the same property of that of the ocean, of the water of the ocean. So are we, in this stimulus, learn that we all are made of that same infinite “Consciousness” That we are not this body, not this mind. Such is the un-manifested sea of Consciousness ~ The Brahman and the manifested sea of spirit are self, the sole reality, differing only in name and form. The computer, the light, the air conditioner ~ all exist in different names and forms. But the consciousness driving all is invisible ‘electricity’.

Our students guided to have faith within their “Own Self”.

The journey is to realize that, “All power is within you. That no power is outside of you” ~ Swami Vivekananda.

The kingdom of Heaven is within you ~ Jesus Christ.
