VKE and Vanitashray – A Social Drive Towards a Much-Neglected Area ~ Girl Children
Vanitashray is non-sectarian, non-political and non-profit organization that provides crucial support to abandoned, exploited and marginalized girl children in India. Victorious Kidss Educares, an IB World School has been a part of this beautiful association for over a decade now. Ms. Anupama Silas Dongardive, who is the Founder and Director of Vanitashray, has beautifully penned down her thoughts about what it means to her to have the extended support and care of our VKE family.
“Since 2008 we, Vanitashray- NGO Pune have been the beneficiaries of Love, affection and constant support through Victorious Kidss Educares Pune. Mrs. & Mr. Ghosh family have extended such a loving care for all our kids at Vanitsahray. Several visits from the students of Victorious Kidss Educares and interaction with our kids at the residential home for several years was a huge blessing.Our girls at Home awaited their visits and enjoyed the various activities that brought laughter, smiles and encouragement to the little ones. The students of VKE always embraced the kids and showered loved upon them with great humility.
We are absolutely grateful for this big VKE Family association that has adopted Vanitashray and loved us all for over a decade now.
Every Year, it was that one particular day our kids waited for, just to be at VKE for a day. To mark the day with special memories, lots of fun, games, dance and food and so much of abundance that we really and totally felt spoilt by the attention and love, we received from every student and teacher. These are special memories every child from Vanitashray will carry for a lifelong. Thank you VKE, for embracing us all. Never ever withdrawn your support and encouragement and we were able to continue on a journey we are on today, is because of your valuable support and help.
