MARCHING TOWARDS NURURING AN INFORMED GENERATION OF LEARNERS

Recognizing the importance of global education, the Career Counseling Department at Victorious Kidss Educares organized an “International University Fair 2023!” on 27 October 2023, that provided a platform for our students and parents to explore diverse educational opportunities. This event served as a bridge connecting our students with international universities.

The Fair drew universities and colleges from various countries, which broadened students’ horizons. The International University Fair aimed to cater to the dreams and aspirations of our aspiring students and promote international exposure. Our Students had the opportunity to interact with university representatives and explore potential future study paths.

The International University Fair offered ample guidance to our students and parents. Experts in the field of global education were present to provide information on the global education path. Here are some key points mentioned:

Academics: Representatives from different international universities gave information regarding their institution’s academic programs offered by each university, subjects, faculty, campus life, and extracurricular activities available to our students and parents.

Programs and Majors: Our students learned about the areas of study available, such as engineering, business, arts, sciences, humanities, design, technology, summer programs and there were more options to explore.

Admission requirements: Students and parents gained insights about admission criteria, standardized test scores, letters of recommendation, and application deadlines.

Scholarship and Financial Aid: Details on scholarships, grants, and financial aid opportunities. This also included merit-based and need-based scholarships and students and parents were informed about work-study programs.

Study Abroad Opportunities: Information on international exchange programs, internships, and opportunities for studying abroad during the course of their education.

Support Services: Support services for students on campus, including counseling, career services, academic advising, and health services.

Internship and Job Placement: The representatives discussed internship and job placement rates and connections with the industry partners.

Cost of Education: Our students and parents were given an explanation of tuition fees, living expenses, and any other financial obligations. They got a sense of the total cost of education.

Application Process: The University representative gave step-by-step guidance on how to apply, what documents are needed, and any unique aspects of the application process.

Important Dates: Our Students and Parents were informed about important deadlines, such as submission of application deadlines, scholarship application deadlines, and enrolment dates.

Career Opportunities: Details were provided about career opportunities, job prospects, and how the university supports graduates in launching their careers.

“The International University Fair 2023” conducted at Victorious Kidss Educares was a resounding success. It achieved its objective of inspiring students to dream big and explore opportunities worldwide. We at Victorious Kidss Educares have again demonstrated our commitment to providing world-class educational opportunities and preparing our students to thrive globally. As students left the fair with dreams of studying abroad, they were also filled with hope and determination to make those dreams a reality.

THE MYP – DP GRADUATION 2023

Milestones in life are few, but they are mighty. Only a few surpass the beauty of graduation, an event sought after by every diligent student, armed with relentless pursuit of their dreams and ambitions.

Being graduated from school is a turning point for every student, a significant moment that is looked back on with fondness as well as pride. It is a momentous journey, heralding the beginning of a bright future, full of hope and promise. The Graduation symbolises hard work, persistence, and dedication, and serves as a gateway to relish in academic accomplishments, while providing parents with an opportunity to celebrate their children’s achievements with pride. 

At Victorious Kidss Educares, every student is a cherished treasure, who receives the best guidance, love, and support that they need, to make their dreams come true. The ceremony itself is symbolic of the student’s unwavering dedication to the pursuit of education. 

We celebrated the much-awaited ‘Graduation Ceremony’ of their Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) Graduates on 27th May, 2023. Eudaimonia was the theme which meant the highest good one can strive for or a life well lived. It gave a message to the graduates to strive towards well-being and happiness. The chief guest, Air Commodore Shri Ashok Chhibbar Sir too reiterated these thoughts in his speech.

The excitement was palpable. The lawn was buzzing with excitement on the day of the grand event. The function, attended by esteemed dignitaries – the chief guest Cmd. Ashok Chibbar, President Dr. Robbin Ghosh, Vice-President Principal Ms. Saarada Ghosh, Program Head Ms. Jaya Kalsy, Program Coordinator Mr. Vishwajeet Kumar, the MYP-DP teachers, and proud Parents – was a celebration of the students’ academic achievements. This jubilant milestone is one that shall be remembered and cherished forever. 

Amidst great excitement, the graduates shared their successful journey and achievements with their fellow peers, teachers, and guests. The diploma, a symbol of excellence, a badge of honour, is the fruit of the student’s arduous labour and dedication. The Graduation Ceremony successfully honoured these learners with well-earned trophies and certificates. 

As the wise often say, “Time flies when you’re having fun”, and it was all fun at the graduation ceremony. The whole event was flawlessly executed and anchored by the students of MYP and DP, who left the audience impressed with their outstanding confidence and composure. The musical show that followed the ceremony was a treat to the ears, the performances were memorable and entertaining. The dance and drama performances in the ceremony was a testimony to the skill and talent present in every student at Victorious Kidss Educares. The students themselves were the epitome of unrivalled enthusiasm and made the ambience very special for their parents and teachers. With beaming confidence, they shared their successful learning journey with their peers and mentors. The parents expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the school for guiding their children in the right direction, and the teachers were appreciated for their unconditional support, love, and care throughout the students’ journey at Victorious Kidss Educares. The graduates donned their Graduation gowns, walked on stage, and each held a candle, a powerful symbol of their enlightened journey. As the students excitedly threw their academic caps in the air, the cheers reverberated across the lawn. This awe-inspiring event culminated with a lavish dinner, which added more charm and splendour to the occasion. 

“The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence.” Perhaps no truth is more powerfully demonstrated than by these students who have attained their graduation, yet they’ve only just begun their journey. As they leave their alma mater to pursue the future with eyes set on greatness, they take the hearts of their teachers and parents with them. Most of the MYP graduates have gone on to join the Diploma Programme at VKE, while others have chosen to explore the world beyond. Whether the path they tread leads them back in the halls of Victorious Kidss Educares or elsewhere, they set out armed with the knowledge, fortitude, and spirit to make a difference, and with pride for the school they leave behind.

As Helen Keller so wonderfully puts it, “Graduation is not the end; it is the beginning of your next adventure.” Indeed, Graduation is analogous to the flicker of a spark that ignites the flame of passion in students’ hearts, setting ablaze their aspirations to achieve greatness. The successful journey of these graduates is a testament to the monumental impact of quality education that defines Victorious Kidss Educares and the future that lies ahead of them is a product of their hard work and dedication.

HISTORY OF NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

National Science Day is celebrated to honor the discovery of the Raman effect made by Indian physicist C.V. Raman. In 1986, NCSTC which is an Abbreviation for the National council for science and technology communication. Requested the union government to designate a day to honor the incredible discovery made by C.V. Raman. Over the years this day began being celebrated in various educational institutions and organizations that are solely dedicated to science and technology. It is because of discoveries like these and the insurmountable efforts of Indian doctors and scientists that have made such advancements possible. India in today’s scenario holds a great position when it comes to the advancement of science and technology all over the world. These great discoveries have relatively made the lives of millions of people much easier and continue to do so in not only India but also around the world.

SIGNIFICANCE OF NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

National Science Day is celebrated every year to celebrate the importance of science and remind us of the impact it has had on the lives of humans. It also gives us an opportunity to remind ourselves of our ambition and might, how discipline, grit, and work wonders when it comes to making life easier through science and technology. National Science Day highlights the insurmountable might and intelligence of humans to have created such spectacular things and make unmatchable discoveries that began from fire to modern-day phenomena. This day is also observed in order to provide people with a platform to discuss the prevailing problems faced by various doctors and scientists in the field of science and technology and devise the ways through which we can contribute towards curbing those problems.

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT VKE

Victorious Kidss Educares celebrated National Science Day with a galore of activities and laboratory experiments on 28th February 2023. The essence of science is independent thinking and hard work. Students of MYP and DP not only participated in various hands-on experiments but also witnessed demonstrations given by the science teachers. Activities were planned to connect with the theme for National Science Day 2023 “Global Science for Global well-being”.
