24th Foundation Day ~ Victorious Kidss Educares

Arise Awake and stop not till the goal is reached. ~Swami Vivekananda

This is a very powerful quote by Swami Vivekananda and it truly symbolizes the journey of our school. Victorious Kidss Educares was a small seed of a very big idea which now stands tall as a tall tree of education, spirituality, technology and a holistic growth towards every individual who is associated with this institution. The idea of one-man Sir Robbin Ghosh has grown and we are all proud of what it has become. The joy that is reflected on everyone’s faces today is the true reflection of the work and hardships started back in 1997.
“Mind is the creator of everything. You should therefore guide it to create only good. If you cling to a certain thought with dynamic will power, it finally assumes a tangible outward form. When you are able to employ your will always for constructive purposes, you become the controller of your destiny.”

This indeed is a profound thought that tells the importance of control of the human mind. These great words were said by Paramahansa Yogananda, an Indian monk, yogi and guru. He introduced millions to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga. On 5th of January 1893, this great soul was born on this earth. We proudly celebrated the birthday of the great guru Paramahansa Yogananda with our Foundation Day.

The program commenced with positivity and motivation with the ‘lighting of Diya’ by Sir Robbin Ghosh, Saarada ma’am, our guests Mr & Mrs Gupta and the core team members. The foundation day ceremony started with Ganesh Vandana by our very talented masters of rhythm, the MYP dance team.
For most of us, VKE is their second home. This faith comes with love, care, nurturing and belongingness. As Aristotle rightly said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.”
Around us, we have such excellent, experienced professionals who have come a long way and their contributions have continued to inspire us with their sincerity, problem solving, leadership skills and most importantly effective communication skills. To reward them of their long diligent service, Sir Ghosh, Saarada ma’am and the chief guest Mr and Mrs Gupta were invited on stage to honor the awardees for long service for serving the school in three categories, more than 10 years, more than 7 years and more than 5 years.

We all were touched by the soul of Chaplin – Mime is not an imitator but a creator. Our Theater Department depicted the journey of the growth of the school through this creative and well executed mime performance. Everyone in the audience applauded the mime artists. It was followed by the movement and the rhythm synchronized dance performance by our dancers that left everyone foot tapping. Dance is the joy of movement and heart of life.
The program was followed by cake cutting by Sir Ghosh and Saarada Ma’am, to celebrate and mark the completion of 23 years of the foundation of the school. The Core Team Members, the PTA members also joined them on the stage for this ceremony. It was followed by Saarada ma’am speech, who appreciated the work of all artists. Sir Robbin Ghosh who is the visionary behind this concept of such a school inspired one and all sitting in the audience.

Everyone was left thrilled hearing his far-sighted vision and belief in each one of the employees. Sir and Ma’am always take everyone together and act as a go to source and a problem solver. Truly in these 23 years the school has evolved and will evolve more. With Robbin Sir’s and Saarada ma’am’s constant support and guidance as the bright sunlight, shining on this tree, we truly believe that this tree is set to achieve greater heights in the times to come and foresee, to become a University soon.

Like every year, we invited senior citizens from Sandhya Homes and Eventide Old Age Homes, and children from Vanitashray Orphanage. There were music and dance events planned and performed. A token of the gift was given to them as a memoir along with sumptuous lunch for all.
