DP I – DEBATE COMPETITION
On Monday the 11th of July 2016, which was celebrated as ‘World Population Day’ worldwide, the students of Diploma Programme Grade 11th participated in a debate competition on the topic ‘Growing Population- An opportunity or danger’.
All the students enthusiastically participated and shared their views, citing relevant examples and evidences to support their arguments. The competition was presided by a panel of judges, comprising experienced faculties from the school. They appreciated the students, for exhibiting their excellent research on the topic, combined with their own understanding and knowledge.
Certificate for ‘Best Speaker’ was presented to Soumil Mitra and Gurudas Natu for their extraordinary debate skills. Also, all the contestants received certificate for their participation.
