Student Achiever ~ Janhavi Mane

Such is the story of Janhavi Mane from PYP1 who stands glorified with her latest achievement. Victorious Kidss Educares champion Janhavi received 2nd Prize at the Saptaswara singing competition in under 8 years’ age category. Saptaswara’s Annual Music Competition was held on 8th and 9th February 2020 at Basant High School, Ghorapadi, Pune.

Saptaswara Pune is a group promoting Carnatic music and conducting exams in Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Pune. Carnatic music or Karnaṭaka music is a system of music commonly associated with the southern part of India. There are different age categories ranging from below 8, 8 and below 12, 12 and below 16, 16 and below 25, 25 and above. Items allowed were Kritis, Geethas, Note Swarams and Swara Jathis for 5 mins duration.

Participants including students as well as Carnatic music teachers from different parts of Pune had come for the competition. Janhavi at the tender age of 6 stood 2nd among around 20 participants in “below 8 years” category. At Victorious Kidss Educares, we teach, we touch lives and we make dreams come true.
