Smashing obstacles in every court of life!
Rishita Patil on a winning spree, realising laurels, one after the other. Rishita from PYP4 Aquamarine has made her parents and teachers proud with her latest achievement of winning Maharashtra State lawn Tennis (under 10) Championship. Prior to this, Rishita won Pune District Tennis Association Championships for Under 10 and under 12 categories. She had been invited to play Masters tournament of PMDTA. This is an inspiring achievement wherein only the top 8 players are invited from each category to play the masters tournament.
Rishita’s mother says, “Tennis is her passion and we hope and wish that she keeps adding new achievements. I would like to thank VKE for supporting her and to Dr Ghosh and the school Principal and her teachers, for motivating her to achieve her goals. She is really inspired”. Rishita received the ‘Tennis Junior Championship trophy which was organized by Pune District Tennis Association (PDTA) on 6th Oct 2019. She was awarded the silver medal in the Under-10 age category. Rishita, very conclusively, became the winner of the runner up title for the Under-12 age category. Prior to her outstanding performance this month, Rishita had also participated in the ‘Mslta Yonex -Sunrise Talent Series’ on 23rd Sept 2019 where she defeated her opponent by a big margin of 6-3 in the semi-finals. She was the runner-up in Finals.
Her talent was noticed by an array of newspapers time and again. The whole VKE family is very proud of her and wish her many more laurels to come. Tennis is mostly mental, you win or lose the match before you even go out there says world’s no.1 Tennis player, Venus Williams.
