Tennis Champion – Sai Agate
Once again, our children from Victorious Kidss display their desire to be different, a winning and a never give up attitude. One such champion is Sai Agate from MYP 4 (Risk Taker) is a sports enthusiast since childhood. Her passion for sports has brought her to this level. She won a Gold in the interschool competition, under 16 girls’ category, and a silver in the under 14 girls’ category. This interschool competition was held at Euro School, from 17th to 19th Jan 2020. Even the year before ~ 2019 was full of events for Sai who attended a series of tournaments. She went for a Senior Nationals in Lucknow in the month of April 2019, then another Junior Nationals for under 19 in Bhopal during June 2019. She also participated in SGFI (School Games Federation of India – Sub Junior Nationals) for under 17 that took place in Dewas during the month of Dec 2019.
Sai Agate says, “I have lost and won many matches. My journey till here has taught me a lot of things. I have learnt to change my weaknesses into strengths. My journey till now has been tough and will get tougher, but as Sir Ghosh says, I will always tell myself, “I can do it”.
At Victorious Kidss Educares, every child matter. We feel every child should play a sport. It teaches them how to win honourably, lose gracefully, respect authority, work with others, manage time and stay out of trouble. Sai has used her MYP ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills, which includes thinking skills, social skills, communication skills, self-management and research skills, to make it happen.
