Outstanding Community Project by MYP3 Students

“Small Acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the World.” ~Howard Zinn

Following The National Concept of  “A Swachh Bharat”

Our MYP 3 (Balanced) champions in their community project worked for the social cause of cleaning and beautifying an area in Kharadi, located behind Victorious Kidss Educares, an IB World School. The community project focuses on community and service, encouraging MYP students to explore their right and responsibility to implement services action in the community. As a consolidation of learning, the community project engages in a sustained, in-depth inquiry leading to service as action in the community.

The group for community project included Aadi Karnavat, Aaryan Dharani, Neel Jain and Yuvraj Bhosale. They cleaned the whole area with the help of the local residents and few volunteers and planted around a total of 90 saplings in that area. They were noticed by the Times group, and their achievement got published Pune Mirror of the Times of India.

We can do more when we work together. With the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, Victorious Kidss Educares students face challenges and aim to make the world a better place. This is illustrated by the community project, as students come together, brainstorm, and show their passion for solving problems and strengthening communities with truth and purity. Congratulations proud parents and congratulation teachers, for your upbringing and instilling values in children.  There are two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children, one of this is ‘roots’, the other is ‘wings’.

The news got covered in Pune Mirror. Also, click here to see a video of their journey.
