RUN FOR DIABETES

In an inspiring display of youth-driven commitment to the community’s well-being, students from the Diploma Programme Year 1 (DP 1) and Diploma Programme Year 2 (DP 2) had recently participated in the “Run for Diabetes” marathon which was 3kms, 5kms and 10kms. The event was organised by Lions Club International. This noteworthy event was not just about running; it was a poignant demonstration of the values instilled in these young individuals through the Activity In CAS experience considering the learning outcomes like Strength and Growth, challenge and skills, commitment and perseverance .

The “Run for Diabetes” marathon, held on 8th October 2023 at BMCC college Pune, was a profound embodiment of the students’ dedication to making a positive impact on society. It was not merely a physical challenge, but a platform for raising awareness about the global epidemic of diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
