What type of education will best suit your child ?

As Marcel Proust rightly said:

“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes”.  This is where every parent faces a challenge. How does one choose the right type of education for their child. We have all understood the need for good education, yet none of us has ever thought of how to do it. How and where does one find the best of learning experience?  Due to a dearth in possibilities, we have ended up giving just any education to children, just to see them as graduates and post-graduates.

To end this educational war, we need a system of education which looks at skill development, which will equip students to take on the challenges of the next century, a system which will encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners. Victorious Kidss Educares, a fully authorized IB World School has been doing that since the school believes that learning and evolving is the fundamental aspect of human nature. The School strives to make children responsible for their learning as the School follows their motto “Learning to Love to Learn”.

Everything you ever wanted to know about – The International Baccalaureate (IB):

What is the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and how the concept evolved?

IBO is a non-profit educational organization, established in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The IBO offers 3 programs of international education:

  • Primary Years Program (PYP)- Grade I to Grade V
  • Middle Years Program (MYP)- Grade VI to Grade X
  • Diploma Program (DP)- Grade XI & XII

These programs aim to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who would help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Thus the IB system of education with PYP, MYP and DP strives to develop an internationally minded person. The students ask WHY they should know something and HOW it connects to other subjects and the real world. The focus of IB education is to develop global citizens and leaders who will respect differences in cultures and opinions. With this aim, the IB has developed the “Learner Profile”- qualities that are indispensible in creating positive citizens of the world. All stakeholders of the IB community are constantly reflecting on how they have qualified on the attributes of– Thinkers, Communicators, Risktakers, Knowledgeable, Principled, Caring, Open-Minded, Balanced, Reflective or Inquirers.

Victorious Kidss Educares, the Largest IB world school in Pune is committed to the IB philosophy and puts students at the center of real life learning by using their natural curiosity and to guide the students with a passion for life-long learning. VKE envisions an Institution where learning is rich with our spiritual heritage of Vedanta, keeping pace with the knowledge of the advancements in Western Science, where students learn to research and apply skills to the issues of the world. They strive to take humanity to a better, brighter future. They equip themselves with skills that give them an edge to move ahead and yet they know respect, compassion and care for those less privileged.
