How HR at VKE is ensuring the safety of all employees?

Being the HR Department of Victorious Kidss Educares, an IB World School, HR is dedicated to keep a quality workforce and enhance the life for all employees. But during the time of crisis, such as today, HR has undergone a transformation in the way it’s been functioning, and changed the ‘just a department for hiring, payroll and picnics’ perception of HR to reach out to each and every employee including the support staff to ensure they are safe, healthy and their current needs are met easily and effortlessly. In most cases, the families are isolated, even though not infected. Each one, in many places are only concerned with their own family. With Victorious Kidss Educares ~ ‘A School with A Difference’ it is not the same.  Every member of VKE family is out of the ordinary, precious and valuable. Our thoughts are with you and your beloved ones during this uncertain time of yours. In this crisis the essential objective and duty of HR Department is to protect our employees. Therefore they are calling all employees and support staff ensuring their safety, continuity of work, and providing guidance to take responsible action in order to prevent the virus, endangering their life in any way!  This is the time to ensure we preach and practice ‘better safe than be sorry’ at work and as well as personal lives. Please use the traditional Namaste to greet, convey respect and also maintain a safe distance, that is being practiced globally. We believe it’s time for us to go back to our roots, how it was practiced and preached by the great masters of ancient Vedanta. On behalf of School Management, HR Department urge everyone to take safety precautions mentioned below,

• Seek a doctor’s advice, soon ~ even if it is seasonal cold?
• Practice social distancing.
• Use alcohol base sanitizer to keep your palm, disinfected.
• Gargle with Listerine, or hot saline water.
• Take a tablet of 1000mg Vit C+ Zinc once every day, for each.
• Help your family members, if suffering?
• Avoid, otherwise close contact with people who are sick.
• Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing.
• Most Important “stay at home”.
• Feel Strong and keep the panic away.

Your pay, for the month of March, would be without deduction, for the period the school had locked down! Meditate every day, morning and evening, even if it is only for 15 minutes, each time? “Prepare and prevent, don’t repair and repent.”
